How To Get The Best Discount When Buying Wine Online From Laithwaite’s UK

written by matthewsimpso

I don’t know about you, but I miss going to cafes. I miss getting a latte on Sunday mornings, and meeting up with friends for a glass of wine in the evening. A lot of North Americans are surprised to find out that cafes in the UK & Europe serve wine in the evenings, although it’s starting to become more common there as well. Comfy chairs, quiet music, it’s a nice alternative if a noisy bar or crowded pub is not really your cup of tea. We’ve all had to settle for having a glass at home and chatting with our friends via video call for a while now, and we’re not sure when we’ll be able to meet up in person again. With that in mind, here are my top tips for getting the best possible price when purchasing wine online.

Use a Laithwaite’s Voucher Code

If you are in the UK, Laithwaites is hands down your best value for purchasing wine online, and they have voucher codes that can save you a bundle. They are a relative newcomer to the online wine space but have already achieved a loyal following and rave reviews. It’s not hard to see why, both their prices and selection are excellent. If you browse their website they also have a Wine Knowledge Hub that’s definitely worth a read. The main thing really though is the prices, which are already low but can be improved even more by using a discount code as I mentioned. And always take a look through their featured wines, there are usually some brilliant deals to be had there.

Laithwaites voucher codes

Buy by the Case

Another good tip to save money is to buy in bulk and buy by the case. If there is a type of wine that your particularly enjoy why not get a whole case of it? You don’t have to drink nothing but pinot grigio for several months, but by purchasing it in bulk you will save money in the long term. You could also use my personal strategy of splitting the cost with some friends and each taking a few bottles. Then you still get the savings, and you get to say hello in person from 6 feet away and with a mask on. I’ll take any social interaction I can get these days!

Buy Laithwaite’s Sampler Packs

Laithwaites has some excellent sampler packs that are also very cost-effective. You can choose all reds, all whites, all roses, all bubbles, or a mix of a few. You also have the option to sort by price, with the lowest being less than £7.99 a bottle! My personal favourite is the Sale Showcase Mix, you get a nice mix of reds and whites from various countries. I wound up trying several bottles that I never would have otherwise, and some have become new favourites. You get 12 bottles of 6 different kinds of wine (so 2 bottles each), and it’s currently on sale for just £83 and change. If you use a voucher code as well, it’s an incredible deal.

Get a Subscription from Laithwaite’s

If you browse the ‘Wine Clubs’ section of Laithwaites.co.uk there are several options for subscription plans. As the banner on the landing page proudly proclaims, you will save over £100 on your first case of wine, and after that you get a 10% discount on the case pricing, which is already a significant savings. If you don’t drink a lot of wine, you can adjust how often you’d like your delivery. They start you off at a case every 12 weeks, but you can request a longer term if you like. When setting up your subscription you will be required to fill out your wine preferences so if there is anything that you are not a fan of you can make sure they don’t send it to you. I haven’t used the subscription service myself, so I’m not sure if you can apply a voucher to it or not.

Cheers, and here’s to a better year ahead!

I am hopeful that we’ll be able to go round to our friends homes again soon. However, even once it’s safe to go outside again getting a good deal never goes out of style. Remember to use a discount code at Laithwaite’s, and enjoy these cozy nights in!

GoDaddy Promo Codes and Coffee Goodness – Is Coffee Good For You?

written by matthewsimpso

We’d like to take a moment to thank one of our contributors. CouponLynx.org rounds up great deals for you on GoDaddy.com’s web hosting, email, SSL Certificates (important if you have an online shop!). We even purchased a domain from GoDaddy to save money on running this website!.

People all over the world love waking up to a freshly-brewed cup of coffee or espresso. For many, it is a morning ritual that they cannot live without. But there have been studies that say drinking coffee is bad for their health, so they often feel conflicted about whether they should enjoy that morning cup or not. If you are one of these people, you will be pleased to learn that these brews are actually good for your health. But many coffee drinkers are not getting all the possible benefits from their cup of coffee.

The Benefits

There are several recent studies that have demonstrated just how beneficial that cup of morning coffee can be for you. It has been found that it may prevent Parkinson’s disease and colon cancer and reduce your chances of getting diabetes. Also, coffee has been shown to give people better mental performance and it can boost the immune system.

It has been shown that people who drink 4-6 cups of coffee a day have a 28% lower risk for Type 2 diabetes and if they drink 6-7 cups daily they are 35% less likely to develop the disease. If you prefer decaf coffee or tea, the risk reduction is very similar.

It’s has also been suggested that coffee drinkers tend to get more exercise, eat better diets and may even enhance their body’s natural defense system.

However, you have probably heard many experts say that drinking too much coffee can damage your heart. If these conflicting opinions have left you confused, you’re not alone. So here are the reasons why coffee can be good for your health.

What Makes Coffee Healthy?

Choosing the right coffee bean is the most important decision you will make. This is because quality beans are rich in the antioxidants that fight disease and improve overall health. When coffee is brewed, the steam is pushed through the ground beans so fast that they keep most of their flavor and their antioxidants.

The reason antioxidants are so good for you is because they help prevent damage to tissue which is caused by oxygen-free radicals in the body. Coffee also contains helpful minerals such as chromium and magnesium. These minerals are especially helpful for diabetics because they help the body use insulin which, in turn, helps control blood sugar.

The first cup brewed always contains the most antioxidants so brewing one cup at a time is very healthy for you. This is because there are fewer antioxidants in the second and third cups of coffee brewed with the same beans.

This is why drinking at least one cup of coffee a day can be good for you. But keep in mind that adding creams and sweeteners that contain lots of calories will decrease the benefits of drinking the coffee. If you want to add cinnamon, however, feel free because that’s good for you.

Of course, this doesn’t mean you can’t ever have sweetened coffee. Just drink it in moderation and you will be fine. So drink your coffee without fear that you are hurting your body. You are actually making it healthier.

5 Ways To Brew Your Coffee And Aliexpress Coupons

written by matthewsimpso

A Free Aliexpress Coupon Code For Your Coffee Brewing Equipment

With a Starbucks or some other coffee chain on just about every urban street corner it is fair to say that our coffee options have expanded. Thanks to the proliferation of online retailers like Amazon and Alibaba, you can buy premium coffee equipment and have it at your door tomorrow.

Now it isn’t just a question of the type of coffee you want, but also how you want it made. Even at home you have tons of affordable options for making that perfect brew. You have the single serve brewers, French press, Chemex and your regular old coffee maker. So which one will give you the best cuppa joe? Let’s look at 5 ways to brew coffee.

  1. Percolator

This is an old school sitting around the campfire way to make coffee. It will be a strong brew, but it isn’t going to make you the best cup of coffee. Most of the time you end up boiling the coffee, which makes for a very bitter cup of coffee. The other problem is that your coffee can taste a little “metallic”.

  1. Automatic Coffee Maker

You probably have one of these in your kitchen right now, slap in a filter, add coffee and water, turn the machine on and in a few minutes you have a steaming hot cup of coffee. This makes a perfectly acceptable cup of coffee, you can control the strength and the type of beans you use and it is quick and easy. Most have timers so you can set them the night before and have piping hot coffee ready when you wake up.

  1. French Press

The French press is popular among those who are very particular about the type and blend of coffee that they drink. It is easy to use and it gives you a full flavored cup of coffee. The drawback is it doesn’t make very much at one time and it takes a little more time than your automatic coffee maker. There is also more to clean up after. But if you savor a strong cup of coffee, the extra work is well worth it.

  1. Pour Over Method

Like the French press it is fairly easy to make a good cup of coffee, you pour water over the coffee grounds and it filters down into an individual cup. Again it has the same drawback, you’re making coffee one cup at a time. It is however, the least expensive way to make coffee.

  1. Chemex

This uses special filters made by Chemex and the coffee maker is a bit different than what you are used to. The Chemex makes a nice strong cup of coffee with little or no bitterness.
